NCAA® History of Women in Intercollegiate Athletics exhibit!
Don’t miss this detailed timeline that highlights the journey of women in intercollegiate athletics and includes the student-athletes, women, and organizations that have made a difference over the last 145 years.
The timeline dates back to 1866 when Vassar College fields the first two women’s amateur baseball teams.
It continues through 2010 when the Connecticut women’s basketball team wins its 89th straight game to top the 88-game winning streak set by UCLA’s men’s team.
Various photos and artifacts will also be on display to help tell the story.
This is a Permanent Exhibit.
